June 9th 2006 marks the birth of our first child, Nolan Barras Rockefeller. We are so proud of Angela, who commited to a natural delivery. She did it! We had the baby at our home in Destrehan thanks to Dr. Kami Dehler, N.D. and our other midwife, Karen Henshaw. Nolan's two Grandmothers, Linda Jones Rockefeller and Inez Marie Barras, attended his glorious birth. He was born 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 20 inches long! Kyle is especially excited to report that he caught Nolan as he burst forth upon the world. "After his head passed through the rest of him came out so quickly. I caught him! Eight and a half pounds of warm, slippery baby boy landed right in my arms."
